AKB48 suspends all performances and events due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Through the group's official Ameblo site, the suspension will affect the group's regular theater performances in Akihabara, as well as other events such as AKB48 Team 8's concert in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Furthermore, all of AKB48's sister groups in Japan (SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48, and STU48) have also done the same and have announced through their respective official websites.
The suspension will last until March 11, 2020.
