SEGA Celebrates 60 Years with a New Character


In celebration of its 60th anniversary SEGA creates a new legend for a new generation!

In SEGA's new campaign promoting the history of the company they introduce a new character named Sega Shirou!

Shirou is a high school student who instead of a regular school blazer wears a familiar judo gi over his uniform. Could it be from.....?

His name is also a play on the same-sounding phrase which means "know SEGA". His catchphrase is "SEGA da yo!" (It's SEGA!).

Shirou is portrayed by Maito Fujioka.
