Shin Ultraman 1/33 Statue Unveiled & Movie Release Date Announced

To prepare all Ultra fans for 2021, Tsuburaya Productions has unveiled yesterday a 1/33 statue of the iconic hero's reimagined look for the upcoming movie, Shin Ultraman, plus they also announced its release date for next year!

The statue, which is in a Spacium ray pose, was unveiled in Eiji Tsuburaya's birthplace Sukagawa city. Also present at the event is Hideaki Anno, writer, and producer for Shin Ultraman, director Shinji Higuchi, and VFX director Kotaro Onoue.

As for the upcoming movie's release date, it was announced that Shin Ultraman is scheduled to premiere in Japanese cinemas in the early summer of 2021.
