Movie Walker Plus reports that the latest team-up film, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters vs Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger THE MOVIE, debuted at the fourth spot of the Japan Box Office Weekend. The film premiered last Saturday, January 19th.
“Go-Busters vs Gokaiger” didn't managed to beat fellow newcomers, “TED” and “Tokyo Family”, which acquired the first and second spot. Claiming the third spot is the acclaimed film “Les Misarables”, now at its 5th week. Meanwhile, top players last January 12th/13th weekend, “One Piece Film Z” and “Hunter×Hunter The Movie: Phantom Rouge”, went down to the fifth and sixth spot.
After almost one year, the pirates return to Earth, completely changed. The Go-Busters are in the midst of Earth's greatest crisis. The Space Empire Zangyack attacks Earth for the third time, and Enter is with them... what's their real goal? [Full summary here!]
Directed by Shibasaki Takayuki (Chou Den-O: Episode Yellow, Kamen Rider OOO WONDERFUL), with Shimoyama Kento (Goseiger vs Shinkenger) on the scripts, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters vs Gokaiger will premiere this January 19th.

Sounds to me like the VS series is either starting to wear out its welcome or the competition this time around was not in the film's favor. I hope the film is at least better than Super Hero Taisen.
Hey #4 is pretty good in my opinion. Just hope its good. Cant wait to see it in a few months.
^ It's not great. Especially since it got beat by four other movies that still did less than the Hunter x Hunter movie the previous week. Ultimatum by comparison topped first place.
