It was recently announced that two guest stars will appear in the upcoming 2013 film, “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods”. They are said to be certified Dragon Ball fans.
The guest stars are Kaori Matsumoto, an Olympic Gold Medalist for Women's Judo (57 kilogram class), and anime voice actress and singer Shoko Nakagawa. Matsumoto will play the role of a member of a motorcycle police force. Her character is modeled after her own image.
Taking place during the manga's "lost decade", “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods” premieres March 30th. The film is directed by Masahiro Hosoda (Dragon Ball Z episode director) at TOEI, and written by Yuusuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys, Gantz).
