The official YouTube channel of dark tokusatsu series GARO started streaming the first promo for its third season, “GARO: The One Who Shines In The Darkness” (牙狼〈GARO〉～闇を照らす者～).
The new cast will be led by Wataru Kuriyama and Junya Ikeda (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger). Also included are Miki Nanra and Tsunenori Aoiki. “GARO: The One Who Shines In The Darkness” premieres April 5th.

I wonder what happen to Kouga? There's only one Garo at time right?
The producer said that the movie is Kouga's last adventure. This sequel is said to be years after that event. So perhaps the new one is his son? Let's see about that when the show airs.
The lack of Kouga disturbs me... I hope nothing happened to him, but then again I haven't seen the last movie yet. I am still trying to learn Japanese so I am stuck until the sub comes out.

It's kind of cool that all the known incarnations of Garo's real name ends with "ga".
Maybe Kouga died and this new Garo is his son. It would make sense as to why the producer said the recent film was his final adventure. I'm kind of depressed thinking about it,I liked Kouga. :(
But look on the bright side, we are getting our first female Makai Knight according to the promo materials. Hooray!
Kouga didn't die in the movie remember the second season ends with it hinted that he returned. I'm fairly sure its his son
i think the story will about the fall of garo,
in the video someone said you are not shine anymore to new garo
i can see it also from the form
few parts of the armour is black/grey which not make him not shine like before
i suspet something realy bad happened to kouga, make the falling of garo
and his son continue the legacy and fix the reputation of garo

His armour is rather different so maybe he's not just the successor to Garo. I'm sure they'll explain all this stuff. It looks pretty cool though.
somehow his armor feels like it is fusion of Garo and Zero Armor...his personality too more close to Rei than Kouga...
