Here are the clips from today's episode of Power Rangers Megaforce, “He Blasted Me With Science” featuring the first transformation of Gosei Great Megazord, and its finisher!

Power Rangers Megaforce features Gosei, a supernatural guardian, who protected the Earth for centuries along with his robotic aide, Tensou. During the massive invasion of the evil Warstar aliens, Gosei calls upon five teenagers with attitude to form the ultimate team... the Power Rangers Megaforce!

    HAHA Gosei Great?? Megazord??

Good job Saban. Now why dont you tell all the American kids just why you couldnt name the show Power Rangers Gosei Force >.>

  2. Anonymous Says:

Really? Can't edit the cards either? I see that it still says Tensou Sentai Goseiger and some Japanese characters as well...*sigh*

  3. Anonymous Says:

^^ You see, Gosei is simply taking after his mentor Zordon by naming their machines of mass destruction after himself. The thing is Gosei is a major egotist so he named practically everything after himself.
Anyway it's not all that bad. No one really bitches that they kept the names Mega Voyager/Winger for In Space.
Either way are kids really going to care? At best maybe less than 1% of them will care to actually pause the episodes, see Gosei plastered everywhere with Japanese text and look up as to why its there.

  4. Anonymous Says:

It's either they are too lazy to think of a more original name or they really run out of idea. But i'm still surprise that they have enough time and energy to think of a really lame catchphrase.

  5. Anonymous Says:

They really should have. This makes it seem like Gosei is really self absorbed

  6. Anonymous Says:

That was pretty cool. But I wish that Saban didn't use alot of the Goseiger footage.Even kids know that the cards are written in Japanese.

    0:59 Try explaining that....

    2 two things, Anon #1.

    1. It shouldn't have to be spelled out, or explained to anyone why the cards and zords still retain the name "Gosei". Their mentor's name is GOSEI, he's a higher being in this series. Get it? It's his shit. No explanation needed.

    2. Why would American children give a single iota of a fuck about Goseiger (and Sentai by extension)? I ask this because I assume this is what you're getting at. You're aware they know nothing of it's existence, yes? I don't understand this with you people. You KNOW it's a show for children within the age range of somewhere around 4-10. What child within that age range do you figure will even bother thinking about #1 when all they see is a giant ass robot shooting lasers and punching shit? It's as if you people can't put your obsessive, narrow minded nonsense aside, and look at it for what it is: A kids show for a western audience. Parents put it on, and leave it to babysit- I mean, entertain their kids.

I know there's a teen-adult audience as well, but we're a minority, and not the target audience, anyway. Sure they put things in for nostalgia's sake for us, but it's the same where a cartoon might have a reference or cheeky joke for the parents that might be watching with their kids.

I ask you this Anon #1 and purist: Would you be happier if all the adaptation was was subs added? I mean, you guys gripe so hard on the changes made, while also crying at the same time that it's a rip off (Saban must be a crafty guy to be getting away with this one for years without being sued!). If yes, I then ask you, what would be the point? You'd literally just be watching the same series again. What exactly do you guys want/expect?

I would ask for an actual discussion, but lol... that's a joke in itself isn't it?

incoming saban hate bandwagon shit storm

no seriously don't even bother commenting, there's not one complaint any of you people can do that I haven't seen before at this point.

It's getting redundant and old, save the blog admins the trouble before it blows up into "We hate Saban argument 30987347583495843" and don't even bother "ranting"

  11. Anonymous Says:

awwww the red ranger retain Alata's height :3 can't edit that out huh Saban~

  12. Anonymous Says:

Gosei Great!? see Saban Goseiger adaptation without having "Angels" and "Sky,Land or Sea Tribe" WON'T WORK!

  13. Anonymous Says:

    Fucking A....

Powers Rangers is the way it is because TOEI WANTED IT THAT WAY. IT"S STILL THEIR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY! DO you whiney fucks understand this now? Stop bitching at Saban and bitch at Toei. You haters sound more like 5 year-olds with this "ewww Power Rangers" crap every time an article is posted.

  14. Anonymous Says:

God, I hate that "laser" sound effect they use for EVERYTHING. Anyone else wish they wouldn't use it so much?

  15. Anonymous Says:

Thanks for pointing out what I've been thinking for a decade. If you don't like the Saban adaptation, then don't watch.

The only problem so far that I really have (aside from the uber cheesy dialogue that most kids won't really notice anyway) is the acting. So far Troy doesn't seem like he's pulling off Mega Force Red (i.e Gosei Red). In street form he's stoic, no nonsense, and so far somewhat of a loner. Then he morphs and gets all flamboyant with the poses. I realize that the poses are all footage of Alata, and from the few Goseiger episodes I've seen, they seem to fit his character. But I just don't see a person like Troy vouging for a ranger call.

    Just sayin...

On another note, I miss the enthusiastic battle cries the rangers would do (like whenever Tommy would throw a punch or kick). Nowadays its like there's no passion in their fighting. Not a big deal, just a note from a long time fan.

    @ Anon Feb 10 at 5:50.
Why won't it work? Kids aren't gonna hear Gosei and think ANGELS!!!! They'll think its named after the mentor. Its working pretty damn well, they don't need to include the angels or why the rangers have sky, land and sea powers.

  18. Unfortunately, I don't have Nick in HD, so there were times when I couldn't see all the 5 Rangers on 1 screen, and the PRM main title took up the entire screen.

  19. Anonymous Says:

BAD GUY: I don't like this card game
ME: Then you haven't played it on a motorcycle.

Atleast Megaforce is better than it Goseiger counter part.

  20. Anonymous Says:

guys, would we really wanted the megazord name to be the "Megaforce Megazord". that would seem like much.

  21. Anonymous Says:

    Anon above ^^
Or MEGArobo transform in to MEGA LION MEGAzoid to combine with the MEGAforce MEGAzoid to become MEGA lion MEGAforce MEGAzoid.

Somewhere in Capcom Hell, megaman is crying

  22. Anonymous Says:

anon 5:22 is trying to. pick a fight lol

  23. Anonymous Says:

    ^^anon above sorry but,
Megaforce begin like kamen rider decade story of the war and the icandy surely improve while goseiger start with tribes for skyric sibling who huff glue all day, landic high on steroid, and blue being emo for half the season. Also forgot goseiknight being environmental asshole.

I love both rangers and sentai but i have to be honest with my opinion. Megafore somewhat serious, Goseiger somewhat funny.
Atleast i know goseiger have better ending episode than megaforce. Power Ranger always pussy foot over the end of the world crap

  24. Saban can't edit those card?
There are still wtitten "tensou sentai Goseiger"
