After the announcement of the Philippine screening of One Piece Film Z earlier this month, Pioneer Films and SM Cinema have teams-up yet again for another CinExclusive, and this time, it's the first Hunter × Hunter film, “Hunter × Hunter the Movie: Phantom Rogue”.

No additional details have been revealed as of writing.

If I'm not mistaken, this will be the first time the film will be screened internationally. The film was the who who dethroned “One Piece Film Z” after topping the charts for four weeks, earning 456,779,000 yen (about US$5,143,930) on 257 screens.


Pioneer Films was the one who brought Sadako 3D, the live action Rurouni Kenshin (locally shown as Samurai X: Rurouni Kenshin), and the upcoming screening of One Piece Film Z this May 1st. The films are exclusively screened in all SM Cinema branches.

Kurapika's "scarlet eyes" were stolen by an unknown party. On the brink of death, his life was saved with the help of Gon, Killua, and Leorio. The Phantom Troupe stands before them, along with Omokage, the true identity of the person with the No.4 spider tattoo.
