One Piece Manga Volume 69: 4 Million Copies Printed


Publishing company Shueisha had revealed that they have printed 4 million copies of the pirate manga One Piece Volume 69: “S.A.D.” One Piece has had the highest number of copies printed of any Shueisha manga series in Japan.

The 67th volume holds the highest record with 4.05 million copies printed on its first run. Since the 64th volume, Shueisha had been printing no less than 4 million One Piece manga volumes on their first print run. The 68th volume received a four million print run when it shipped in Japan in November.

One Piece Volume 69: “S.A.D.Summary:
Caesar Clown gets an emergency report from one of his subordinates that Luffy, his crew, Trafalgar Law, and the Marines have broken in and are going further. As the Straw Hats fight against Caesar's gate defenders as well as the G-5 Marines blocking their way, an alarm is heard and the passage gate begins to close.

The manga volume was released this Monday, March 5th.
