A new magazine scan for the upcoming Go-Busters V-cinema, “Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters VS Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters” finally showed a new suit featuring Green Hippopotamus.
Green Hippopotamus is Atsushi Domyoji, played by Usada Lettuce's VA, Tatsuhisa Suzuki. Full cast list can be found here.
Running for a total of 45 minutes, the release includes the main story, an alternate universe on "what if the events 13 years ago didn't happen", the making and other behind the scenes video, PR images, and videos with fans.
And... a new trailer was posted on the official website:
Directed by Hiroyuki Kato, with Kento Shimoyama on the scripts, it will be released on June 21st, and retails 6300 yen. The casts for this one-shot special was revealed in the latest issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine! [PRE-ORDER HERE]
It's been quite long since TOEI released a V-Cinema after a Super Sentai series ended. The last was “Tensou Sentai Goseiger Returns! The Last Epic: The Gosei Angels are National Icons?!”, where the Goseigers were unable to use their "Memory Wash" memory erase card on people, thus becoming national idols. It all started out in “The Return of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger: Special Act”, where they were transported through different illusion dimensions.

Green Hippo looks like Green Buster with ears and teeth!
So ... pretty much if Go-Busters was a cheesy Sentai aimed at kids. Now if only they did that for Go-Onger ... oh wait.
... Looks like Black is a recolor of Red, while Green is a recolor of Blue with a redesigned Helmet... .

Sentai in general is a cheesy show aimed at kids.
The interesting thing with this is that the actors are mostly doing double acting so it will be a test on their acting skills.. that will be something to watch
