Justin, Tanya Won't Be in Power Ranger Super Megaforce

Blake Foster, known for his role as Justin/Blue Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo, had posted on his official Facebook page that he won't be appearing in the future episodes of Power Rangers Super Megaforce. The reason? Here it is:

Additionally, Nakia Burrise, known for her role as Tanya/Zeo Ranger II in Power Rangers Zeo and later as Yellow Turbo Ranger in Power Rangers Turbo, also posted on her Facebook page, telling fans that she won't be in Super Megaforce. Here's what she had said:

Nine past cast members are said to have been confirmed to appear. Filming for the said episodes will be on May 25th and 26th.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce is the 21st season of Power Rangers continuing the celebration of the series 20th anniversary. The Megaforce rangers, will acquire a new "power up" in Super Megaforce and must be in this "new power-up" (Gokaiger suit) to transform into past rangers... This will also feature the appearance of the "historical rangers".

Can't say that I'm surprised by this news. It's not like Tzachor actually gives a damn about the franchise anyway.

    Well this stinks.

Hm. I wonder what happened behind the scenes.

  6. So more actors are saying it's not about money but about Saban breaking promises. Suspicious.

Still, it's really sad to see yet more former Rangers bowing out.

  7. Anonymous Says:

That's a pity, like the others.

But, now I wonder. If the problem wasn't money, what was it?

Either way, things seem difficult with Saban Brands. I'll not say that the people there didn't do anything wrong, but I hope they learn to outline this mess. And something else.

  8. Anonymous Says:

If money had nothing to do with it... Then Saban just wants to suck in general doesn't he?

  9. Anonymous Says:

This can't be happening! Justin and Tanya won't appear!?

  10. Anonymous Says:

    Justin won't return for Megaforce!?

  11. Anonymous Says:

That's a shame, would have been nice seeing the youngest ranger return after so many years, he wouldn't be that much older than the current cast either show wise.

  12. If money wasn't the issue, what was it? Blakes loves PR, it must have been something big to stop him from going. Wondered what followed through meant. Screen time?

  13. Candelira Says:

I wonder what these terms were exactly.

    Keep smiling~!

  14. Deragon Says:

Wow money is not an issue huh so Steve and Karan are lying...

  15. Lion Maru G Says:

Probably he's not allowed to fly to New Zealand.

  16. Saban must have been forcing a bad deal to the actors. If money wasn't an issue, the terms doesn't meet their expectations. If someone could reveal the terms, this could shed some light to the matter.

its funny how both of them and a lot of other people are saying its not "because of money" what could Saban say to make them want to say yes but then not go though with it? that isn't money? :P me thinks its money don't lie

I met Nakia last summer and she was really cool to talk with. I understand that they say it isn't about the money but the fact that EVERYONE is mentioning that? There's something fishy there and I feel like maybe we're being lied to from the actors? I don't know what to feel. I'm disappointed but I'm so confused, too. I hope they truly come out and say their reasoning and not "They treated us bad back then". That excuse is getting old.

and......what about Amy Jo Johnson?Any news about her? Come to think that she's the PR who successfully got out of the PR shell, had movies and role in a J.J. Abrams TV series.

as much as I didn't like blake as a kid I was hoping he was going to return for the 20th/21st season specials. And he seemed like a pretty logical choice too since he has mentioned wanting to come back and far more likely choice then a lot of others. As for tayna sad she isn't returning but I didn't really care much for her. Still curious to see how super megaforce turns out.

  23. Anonymous Says:

Could be screen time. Could have do to with union. Could be multitude of things.

  24. Anonymous Says:

I think the terms were Like these: you get paid for your appearance but all other costs associated with going to New Zealand weren't going to be covered.

  25. while I am dissappointed in all that are NOT gonna be in it, but consider the fact that jason smith is writing and is following sentai, maybe even gokaiger, the current past rangers could show to be just needed, correct me if I am wrong, and I hope someone does, but we really don't need all of them, for starters, we would need Nick from PRMF, one red from SPD (so far we know bridge, and jack are out, and bridge has been red in one anniversary) therefore Sky could pull it off, Casey from PRJF (which we got) I know ZEO pink and red (which red is confermed) one red turbo, which TJ will be there, female samurai red, wild force red, space red and pink, dino thunder blue, and I forget the others, so far the only flop is looking to be ninja storm, anybody think differently email me

im not surprised sounds like another F UP by saban again once again another crappy season. compaired to gokiger this is going to be crap even goesiger was better than megaforce and goesiger was not the best by a long shot. they should cancel this to save them from making an embaresment of themselves.

  27. Saban can't cancel the series; only Nickelodeon can (and is trying to); their live-action shows (so far) aren't working out for them, anyway. Power Rangers isn't ALLOWED on Vortexx on the CW anymore for some reason. The only network here in the US that actually CARES about Power Rangers and its 20th anniversary is the upcoming Vortexx on Kabillion (which I don't have). Nicktoons also actually started caring with its 24-hr. Morphenomenons, and the Power Play blocks, but since they're gone now, they also couldn't care less now, either, even though it has the word TOONS in it (another live-action show, The Troop, is also on there, but only on weekday mornings). Where else was Saban gonna put this show on, anyway? The show was getting too expensive for Disney to keep producing, and at least all previous seasons are on Netflix (which I DO have). But Netflix is about to lose all Nick shows. CN has ENOUGH live action, anyway, but Stu Snyder wants MORE of it on there and less action cartoons, except if they're toy-based OR Ben 10. I stopped watching CN after the end of Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated, Green Lantern, and Young Justice; not even BOOMERANG is safe anymore. So, in short, The CW doesn't want Power Rangers anymore (for some reason) and Nick doesn't want Power Rangers anymore, either, and only the networks can cancel the show, NOT Saban.

  28. And to Nickelodeon and Vortexx on the CW, the show doesn't exist. - Buy Video Games for Consoles and PC - From Japan, Korea and other Regions
