Kamen Rider Fourze, Gavan Teams Up to Teach About Space

Starting last April 27th, Saitama Youth Astronomical Museum is holding educational program featuring a team-up between Kamen Rider Fourze and Space Sheriff Gavan. Entitled “Kamen Rider Fourze & Space Sheriff Gavan: Protect the Golden Disc”, both characters tells the story of the space probe Voyager 1.

Voyager 1 was launched in 1977, for the purpose of solar system exploration. After traveling for more than 35 years and traveled 18 billion kilometers from Earth, it is considered as the farthest man-made object and is currently traveling in a previously unknown region of space.

In the event that either spacecraft is ever found by intelligent life-forms from other planetary systems, it carries the "golden disc" which contain photos of the Earth and its lifeforms, a range of scientific information, spoken greetings from people, and a medley, "Sounds of Earth", that includes the sounds of whales, a baby crying, waves breaking on a shore, and a collection of Earth music.

The length of the show is at least 50 minutes and attendees were students from grade 3 and below. There will be one show from Tuesdays to Fridays, and two shows (morning and afternoon) during Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
