Amemiya, Inoue Collaborates in New Tokusatsu Show "Shougeki Gouraigan"


A new website had been launched for an upcoming tokusatsu series entitled “Shougeki Gouraigan”. The series will be helmed by director Keita Amemiya (GARO) and screenwriter Toshiki Inoue (Choujin Sentai Jetman, Kamen Rider Agito). It stars model actress Yua Shinkawa (35-sai Koukousei, GTO 2012).

Scheduled to premiere this Fall 2013, it is dubbed as a "love comedy battle action hero" series. Additional details including other cast and story are yet to be announced as of writing.

    'love comedy' battle action hero.I'm not liking the sound of that tbh. But I do love GARO and Agito so there is still hope

    comedy/ romance? so it's a Garo Parody? or pseudo-spinoff?

    It looks very Garo-ish, which is no surprise because of Keita's involvement .

    It seems like only yesterday that there was only KR and SS and the occasional side show.

    Now all of a sudden we are seeing tons of activity on the toku superhero front this year.

    I wonder if Avengers had anything to do with it?

    I am not too happy with the sudden increase in CGI use so my excitement is subdued at the moment.
