A new video footage for the latest installments of the Pokémon game franchise, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y had been released, unveiling the first official look at three more Mega Evolutions.
Featured in this promo are Mega Ampharos, Mega Absol, and Mega Mawile. Another video footage showcases the look at Mega Kangaskhan from this weekend's Pokemon World Championships.
Mega Evolution is only available in-battle. A capable Pokémon can only evolve into this state if they hold a specific "Mega Stone". For example, Blaziken can only evolve to Mega Blaziken if it holds Blazikenite during battle, etc. Available Mega Evolutions are Mega Absol, Mega Mawile, Mega Mewtwo, Mega Lucario, Mega Ampharos, and Mega Kangaskhan.
Pokémon X & Pokémon Y will be available for the Nintendo 3DS, and are scheduled to be released worldwide this October 12th. Pre-order now at Play-Asia and get FREE SHIPPING!

This is absolute garbage. They all look ugly especially Ampharos and mewtwo. The only mega pokemon thats good is Kangaskhan. And all they had to do was make it interesting and let the baby fight after all these years. The rest are all stupid looking. It's they are playing dress up. This is a disgrace to the pokemon that I grew up with. Even generation 5 is better than this crap. RIP Pokemon
Ampharos and Mawile looks really cool! XD
Cant wait to play this game!
You know for mega level pokemon they only look like ultimate level digimon... at the most. It's so funny to see how people just lost the minds after hearing that mega kangaskhan can attack twice. ooooooohhhh big whup. ok so they have mega evolution, and pokemon jogress, what's next? warp/chou shinka? armor shinka? card slash? spirit evolution/ poke-henshin? pokesoul charge? pokexros? pokemon gattai?
The music reminds me of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. XD

Kangaskhan attacking twice is a big thing since you get another hit in round which helps you in important matches. I have played pokemon for a long time and I know how much 1 more hit being a lifesaver in the game.
@anon2 And it's much much funnier to see someone who obviously don't like this idea yet continues to read news about it just to troll with negative comment. Is your real life really that sad, that you have to use every Pokemon news as punching bag? You should go to a psychiatrist or something like that... you've got serious issue sir (and nope, I'm not even trying to be offensive to you... just worried) :(
@anon2
Yeah because Digimon is REALLY doing that well that Nintendo and Gamefreak have to copy ideas for the Pokemon franchise. I'm sorry but who really gives a crap about Digimon anymore? Digimon was awesome when it came out, the tv show up to the Tamers series was completely awesome, but what are Digimon upto nowerdays eh? I'm pretty sure they haven't brought out a decent videogame like ever, and their card game is a glorified and rather bland rock-paper-scissors game.
As for your comments about Mega Kangaskhan, take a look on Bulbapedia at her move set, now imagine any of those attacks hitting twice per turn. That's pretty damn awesome! Not to mention the design is quite a clever idea, not like a cat with green ears somehow turning into a girl angel with tits flying about everywhere or a pink ball of fluff turning into a dinosaur ;D.
