Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Coming this December 26th


It had been confirmed that the upcoming release of Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster will be coming this December 26th, just a day after Christmas. Isn't that awesome?! Apart from the two main games, it also comes with additional content previously not released outside Japan.

The Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD will be available in different bundles: the PlayStation 3 version for 7140 yen, a PlayStation Vita "Twin Pack" for 7140 yen or 6,400 yen for download, a limited edition PlayStation Vita "Resolution Pack" system for 27,069 yen. As stated previously, the game will be sold separately for the PS Vita for 3990 yen each or 3600 yen for download.

Additionally, the HD Remasters will also comes with Final Fantasy X: Eternal Calm, a 14-minute video takes place between the two games, and Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission, which includes two new dress spheres, an additional mission, and the ability to capture monsters and characters. "Last Mission" has not been previously released outside of Japan.

Originally released in 2001 for the PlayStation 2, Final Fantasy X took place in Spira, as the story revolves around a group of adventurers and their quest to defeat a rampaging monster known as Sin. Tidus, a blitzball star finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand was destroyed by Sin. He later joins the summoner Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin.

Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster is slated for winter 2013 release, in both Japan and North American territories. The PlayStation 3 version will bundle the two games together, while the PlayStation Vita versions will ship separately.

    this is a japanese release date. the is NOT a release date for US and other regions. Square-Enix has not stated a release date for other regions themselves. whoever posted this needs to do more research.
