It has been announced that Tohru Fujisawa's Kamen Teacher manga will be having a live action film adaptation, as a follow-up to the recently concluded drama series.
The film will be led by Taisuke Fujigaya of Kis-My-Ft2 as the titular character Gota Araki, Kamen Teacher himself. Also present in the press meeting are cast members Aya Omasa (Paradise Kiss), Sexy Zone's Fuma Kikuchi (Future Diary -Another World-), Johnny's Jr. members Jesse and Nozomu Kotaki, Takumi Saito, and Mikie Hara (Cutie Honey).
In the recently concluded Kamen Teacher drama series, Gota Araki is a teacher that was transferred to a new high school after a certain incident. This time, he will handle class 2-C, which composes of problem students led by the one called "M4". To reach to his students, Araki resorts in using the power of the mask.
Directed by series director Kentaro Moriya, the Kamen Teacher live action film premieres in Japan on February 22nd, 2014.
