Is it that fucking hard to give the other characters besides Lucky the spotlight. I mean, why couldn't we have Stinger be the one to hang around Kotaro, or at least have the other members there. It'd be interesting to see the dynamic between a jaded member of the team and a idealistic newcomer, but instead we have to spend time with an obnoxious idiot who always has to be right. Its Lucky who always serves as a mouth piece for the morals and themes for the show, which can get rather grating. Why can't the other characters make speeches or have others learn from them or learn something for themselves. Also, they made Xiao dumber than usual for the sake of comedy in a serious situation. It doesn't help that this was when Lucky was explaining that Xiao had grown over the years. Why not show Xiao properly handle the situation rather than complicate things. While I did laugh a few times such as when Champ reminds Balance that machines can't feel temperature and Ray knocking himself out when he was practicing smiling, this episode was overall 'unbearable'.
