Actor Jun Shison has been sent to the hospital recently.
According to the official statement posted on Jun's Twitter, the actor has been hospitalized due to Acute Mycocarditis and Pericarditis, which both affect heart muscles, with symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath. Depending on the severity, they could cause cardiac arrest, which is fatal.
News of Jun's confinement have been around since March 27, 2021, but the official statement was only released on April 13.
Jun is currently undergoing treatment and will be taking time to recover.
