The zombie survival manga Highschool of the Dead returns to the pages of Dragon Age magazine this April 9th. Above is the cover of the said magazine with Mikoto Kiba's illustration of HOTD's Saeko Busujima.
High School of the Dead is a story of a group of 6 students led by Takashi Komuro and their school nurse, Shizuka Marikawa, who survives a deadly disease that turn humans into zombies. They struggle in surviving the catastrophic event called "The Outbreak."
The last volume of the manga, Volume 07, containing Acts 26 to 29, was released last April/May 2011. Additionally, a 12-episode anime adaptation, taking up the manga's first until half of the fourth volumes, originally aired from July 2010 to April 2011.
