I love how they used Storyboards in the opening in place of characters and concepts that haven't appeared yet.

That was .... not as good as S1's opening

That felt more like an ending than an opening.

Going to be dead honest here, the S1's opening was better than this one's, it just felt more alive. This one, it just feels like they're not really into it. :/

That's not the complete opening for now... My guess, the song and the sequence will be updated in the next episodes

I loved that they screamed the show title 5 seconds into the opening just like in official sentai. This song is better than season 1's in my opinion. I will actually listen to it instead of skipping to the episode.

Kinda expected more of the opening myself too. Probably they couldn't write lyrics that were so epic as S1's opening...

I noticed a lot of comments that didn't get the opening. It's supposed to be a work in progress that's why the song is actually called Akibaranger S2 DEMO in this opening, and why they are using storyboards in place of actual scenes. It's going to change in the next episode or the 3rd maybe

I'm wondering if perhaps we'll start hearing more lyrics filled in each week, along with the storyboard bits replaced by actual video, to go along with new introductions to the plot. I could see Akibaranger taking such a troupe with openings that far, and I think it'd be neat, so by the end of the season, we might have a great-sounding opening. For now, though, season one's opening was definitely better.

They did mentioned it before the opening start: They couldn't make the opening in time so they just give us whatever they got.

Yes. In the lyrics, the woman sings "La la lalala la la" in place of the *spoiler* lyrics.

You know, the same "lalala" a person does when somebody is about to spoil the plot? That's what it is. It's a nod to the forums, BBS', and message & image boards intolerance for un-hidden spoilers.

The ED by the great MOJO of battle fever j, goggle v, and dynaman fame is good.

Now that I've heard the real one, I can admit that I enjoyed the first season's song better, though I feel this one gives a more official sentai feel which is good, but I had the original stuck in my head after listening to it the first time.
Of course, this season should be more light-hearted since they chose the new akiba blue to be someone who seems more playful and girly. This show is in good hands, and I trust it to come out good. And I can;t wait until the american version is created. Many of you have groan from reading that, but it will be way better than the kid's version since there will be less restrictions and it probably won't have the words "power" or "ranger" in the title so kids don't accidentally watch it.

They should of kept season 1's opening theme. This one sucks ass. Oh and the new Akibablue is pretty cute and I'm surprise that the actress is only 15 years old. The producers must be pedos to be hiring such a young girl for this crazy and naughty show.

^w^ now thats fun, as expected as Akibaranger. Granted not as pumped up as 1st season OP, but its still good IMO.

Now I hope the people who initially judging the show based on the OP only would just shut up.

The alternate universe has a a lot of ground to play with, so looking forward to this season.
