Anything Goes in Kamen Rider Battride War PS3 Screens

With its release just a few days away, Dengeki Online had posted the latest batch of in-game screenshots and information for the first Kamen Rider game on PlayStation 3, Kamen Rider Battride War (仮面ライダー バトライド・ウォー). This centers around Kamen Riders OOO, the recently revealed W Fang Joker, and Agito.

Kamen Rider OOO can freely change into another combo, but keep in mind that using one for a long time is dangerous. Mix-n-match combos and BraKaWani Combo are not available in the game. All combos can use the RideVender

Each combo had their own abilities. TaToBa Combo can use the Medajalibur and the TaToBa Kick. GataKiriBa can electrocute enemies and multiply to perform a Rider Kick. RaToraTa can use the Lion's blinding light and Cheetah's fast legs. SaGoZo is a power type. TaJaDor can shoot fireballs and of course, fly. And Shauta can use his whips.

OOO's power-up is Kamen Rider OOO PuToTyra Combo. He can use the Medagabryu to perform his finishing attack. He also can utilize both the Ptera wings on his head, and the Tyrannosaurus tail to attack the enemies.

Kamen Rider W Fang Joker is a speed type character. It is located on a different slot than the regular, form-changing Kamen Rider W. He can use the Arm Fang and Shoulder Fang, with the latter can be executed while freely moving on the stage.

He also have the special ability to sacrifice defense and increase the power and speed, somewhat similar to that of going berserk. Its finisher, the Fang Streizer.

Lastly, here's Kamen Rider Agito (Toshiki Kashu). He can freely change between Flame, Storm and Trinity Forms, with Ground as the balanced form, Flame having stronger but less mobility and speed, while Storm is more fast but having less power.

Agito's power up is Kamen Rider Shining Form. Sadly, no screens of Agito riding on the Machine Tornader was present.

Kamen Rider Battride War features Chronicle Mode, where riders from Kuuga to Wizard fights against a horde of kaijins, revisiting famous places from the TV series, trying to regain their lost memories. It will also be featuring some of the original actors returning and voicing their respective roles.

Kamen Rider Battride War will be released this May 23rd for 7480 yen, and 10,480 yen for PREMIUM TV SOUND EDITION which include 30 songs from the works scheduled to be featured in the game (available until August 2013). Pre-order now at CDJapan and get exciting bonuses!

Oh man...The OOO combos look so bad-ass riding the Ride Vendor, except for SaGoZou, and LaToraTar.

so... now i can safely say PuToTyra is real Ultimate Form for OOO and Super Tatoba is just special form for Movie like CJGX

  5. I think its time to learn Japanese language if the English version doesn't release in the future. Dynaty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Sengoku Basara and other Musou games could be able to release an English version. Why not this marvelous game? I don't see why they shouldn't release an English version for this amazing Kamen Rider game? Geez~ :'(

The Kamen Rider franchise is not released anywhere in the Western Hemisphere, and then you also have to worry about licensing the series outside of Japan, so localization would be a problem.

Developing it would be a pain since they'll be working on the PS3 platform, and the SKU/dev kits are notoriously expensive. So you can just imagine how much the game would cost if they did bother to do that.

You're onto something, A3nur. But when I think about it I think only of Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle EU, which was Saint Seiya Chronicles in JP. If things turn up anything like how it was with that game then the US is technically boned in terms of getting it, but EU may have a shot. As it was for Saint Seiya, which did poorly in the US, we have to base things, at times, on how their shows did or marketing in general ...which sucks. Cuz we only have 'that saban show which shall not be named', and Dragon Knight.

Together both of those kinda bombed ..or well ..'tsswsnbn' bombed terribly all on its on, I personally felt Dragon Knight was an honest effort. So it's unlikely from a pessimistic or realistic perspective. Though what would be great would be if they did it like say, with more recent Koei games in mind, Warriors Orochi 3. The game is in Japanese audio only but has English subs. There's just no time to search for dub actors, though I admit it'd be interesting to hear Johnny Yong Bosch and Morgan Freeman voicing someone.

Or from a more creative aspect maybe that Power Rider name will come into play through this. Dragon Knight got us a revision of Climax Heroes, featuring Dragon Knight characters only, so who knows. Overall ..WE'RE COUNTING ON YOU EUROPE!

they wont release an english version in the usa because there was only a couple of kamen rider shows that were televised here and that was sabans masked rider and kamen rider dragon knight and the kamen rider shows didnt catch on like the power rangers series did.and wasnt as popular as it is in japan so bandai figures that they wont sell as many copies of the game here since most kids dont even know what a kamen rider is.
