Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger 10 Years After V-Cinema Trailer, Plot Revealed

TOEI started airing the promotional video for the upcoming release of a Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger V-Cinema, entitled “Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After”. The trailer shows what happened to the team 10 years after they defeated the Jakanja, and a black or evil HurricaneRed!

The trailer in TOEI's official YouTube page is country restricted.

Meanwhile, here's the film's plot from the latest issue of Hyper Hobby magazine. A space ninja group initiate mysterious bombings around the world. Nanami and Kouta followed the series of incidents, but were surprised to see a familiar figure appearing before them! It was mentioned that a mistake was made from a battle 10 years ago.

The three main ninjas are still active as a member of the Hurricanegers. Yousuke Shiina/Hurricane Red, who is known to have been volunteering in war zones around the world. Nanami Nono/Hurricane Blue is active in performing arts, while Kouta Bitou/Hurricane Yellow is now married and became a father.

Lastly, the Gouraiger have gone in separate ways. Ikkou Kasumi/Kabuto Raiger became a lead vocalist for a band while Isshuu Kasumi/Kuwaga Raiger became inactive as a Gouraiger when his brother became a lead vocalist.

This release will be available in Collector's Pack for 10,290 yen, Blu-Ray Disc for 5775 yen and 4725 yen for the DVD version. Directed by Katsuya Watanabe, with scripts from Hurricaneger's head writer Junichi Miyashita, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 Years After V-Cinema will be released on August 9th.

  10. I'm now even more excited. The shower scene surprised me, so not sure if they're going for Hurricaneger's fans from 2002. Looks awesome and I appreciate the nod to Abaranger vs. Hurricaneger and Gokaiger, ie. Shurikenger's presence, despite Aba vs. Hurric's other continuity lapses. Excited for the special and I love it's coming on Blu-Ray.

    HURRICAN this word DOESN'T EXIST!!

It's clearly written HURRICANEGER in the opening NOT "Hurricanger".

Sheesh, to this day fans still insist on using Hurricanger instead of HurricanEger, that's annoying.

Honestly .. the film looks pretty low budget. Makes me question why it was even made.

  14. Anonymous Says:

I have no idea why this is being made, but I love it and will watch it ASAP.

The toy of Hayate Maru, they had a sticker where it was written "HurricanEger".

I remember that even the DVD is written like that.

You wanted to correct people but in the end you screwed yourself up.
"Hariken" does not necessarily means Hurricane in this case. It is a pun. A Japanese word play. Search for "hariken" and learn. Lol.

    Can you source your claim?

Still this doesn't change the fact that the official romanization IS Hurricaneger.

Hurricanger is just as correct as Hurrikenger, Haricanger or Halikenjar. - Buy Video Games for Consoles and PC - From Japan, Korea and other Regions
