Shonen Jump announces that Akira Toriyama's adventure manga Dragon Ball Z will be inspiring yet a new video game. Entitled Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, is a team melee game that will be available in three platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSVita.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z will be featuring Super Saiyan God Son Goku from the recent battle of Gods film. The game can have up to four players that can play cooperatively, or eight players who can engage in a massive battle royale online. It will also feature attacks such as "Meteor Chain" (successive attacks), "Synchro Rush" (simultaneous attack), and "Revive Soul" (reviving a fallen teammate)
The currently confirmed roster includes Goku, Vegeta, Raditz, Nappa, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, Kid Gohan, Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, Recoome, Guldo and Saibaman.
Price and release date is yet to be announced.

Please don't be another Tenkaichi clone. If it is, please make some gameplay changes. I've always found it to be boring and dull since they used the same formula so many times.
This better be a good game because we have been screwed with horrible DBZ games for the past few years. The only good thing about Ultimate Tenkaichi was being able to create a fighter and no one gave a rats butt about Kinect which was awful. Raging Blast 2 was the last good DBZ game we had.
I hope they have create a character mode,where u can make different races n have all of the moveset u can use,raging blast 2 was one of the best alongside infinite world with all the charaters.I hope we can get a RPG mode this year.the boss battles with the great apes in ultimate tenkaichi was cool 2,but it must be like Raging Blast 2.I just hope we have all the DBZ characters+forms as well as create a character this year..
Be cool if it comes to next gen consoles as well...I hope it does.
