Go-Busters is Power Rangers Go-Bursters!

Calm down! This is not a new Power Rangers season. Power Rangers Go-Bursters will be the title of the South Korean dub of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. The country recently aired Gokaiger as Power Rangers Captain Force.

South Korea is known to call "Power Rangers", most of the time adding 'theme' plus the word 'Force' on their Super Sentai dubs. Other dubs include "Magic Force" for Magiranger, "Treasure Force" for Boukenger, "Wild Spirit" for Gekiranger, "Engine Force" for Go-Onger, and "Miracle Force" for Goseiger.

...am I the only one who thinks that Korea handles the Super Sentai material better than Saban does?

    ...wow, laziest title ever.

  4. Anonymous Says:

Couldn't have they just name the title Go-SpyForce?

@danny lucas actually, they have been doing this for a while, now. at some point, i don't remember when, they changed power ranger for sentai, but kept the name power rangers.
Also, they truly broke their heads thinking that title, didn't they?

That logo is actually kind of awesome.

it would have to be subtitled not english dubbed voice overs.i can imagine how horrible that would be

good because us power rangers is garbage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Unknown Says:

If YOU believe it's garbage, then you'll be happy to know that it's been permanently replaced by Sonic X on Vortexx on the CW (either The CW had problems with Power Rangers Lost Galaxy or Sonic X is more popular, even though it ended many years ago; either way, Vortexx on The CW isn't happy with Power Rangers) and Power Rangers is NOT on Vortexx's list of returning shows. Nickelodeon is also NOT HAPPY with Power Rangers at all, and they want to get rid of it as soon as possible, as PR continues to bring low ratings.

Good. Sonic X is awesome. Gotta go fast.

I hope you were trolling that other dude...

The CW only only got the rights to the one season of Power Rangers because it's still testing the Vortexx block. WWE Saturday Morning Slam used to come on too. It just disappeared one day. WWE cleared it up by saying they only made a deal for one "season" of the show. Ratings have nothing to do with the shows departures. It's the distribution deals that are in the way. As for Power Rangers, it's ultimately up Toei what they want to happen with their International brand.

I'm expecting both shows to return during the fall season at the earliest. Winter season at the max

Damn.. their logo is one of the most awesome power rangers logo ive seen so far..

    @Anonymous

Yeah, but Saban owns both Power Rangers AND the dubbed version of Sonic X; and Vortexx on the CW has already lost 5 shows thus far: Transformers Prime, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, WWE Saturday Morning Slam, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, and Cubix: Robots for Everyone. With the removal of WWE and PR, the block is now animation-only. Another rumor is that The CW had problems with the content on Lost Galaxy.

    @ Re'Nell Glover

That's because they picked one of the darkest seasons to broadcast on their channel. That season had the largest amount of characters deaths in franchise history with Deviot one time actually killing a character the moment he finished business with him. Had it been Jungle Fury or maybe RPM (Which while dark, wasn't as dark), then things would have been much more different. Right now lets see what happens in the near future

The funny thing is, I've been seeing Go-Busters merchandise since I arrived in Korea last July, but this is the first I've seen the official South Korean name for it.

i dont know why but as i am a korean.... korea always changes a few stuff thats from japan, they either change a name into a more korean style... they dont like the idea for using the japanese stuff directly.... thats why the kamen rider faiz toy in korea has korean on the phone and the accel driver voice and accent is messed up.... i even remember they put the red and blue circle from the korean flag on a japanese robot chest which the original had nothing on it..... i hope they stop doing this and just take in stuff without changing...
