Hikaru Transforms to Ultraman Ginga

A new batch of ULTRAMAN GINGA images were published on Japanese hobby and tv show magazines. One of the scans shows Hikaru, transforming into Tsuburaya's new Ultraman hero.

Another image shows a preview of his version of the "Specium Beam" finisher. Check out more scans here.

All of the Ultra Heroes (and Monsters) have been turned into "dolls" by a mysterious power. Some of the dolls are scattered across the universe. A boy gets the "Ginga Spark" which empowers him to return the toys to their rightful size. Ginga will also fight monsters (and aliens) working for the power responsible for doll transformations.

To protect the people, by using the Ginga "Spark," Hikaru will fight to save us! He is now considered as the youngest Ultraman host at the age of 17.

Ultraman Ginga have a total of 11 episodes and two specials. The first six episodes will run from July to August, and another five will run from November to December, while the remaining two will air during events this September and spring of 2014. The show will be a part of the “New Ultraman Retsuden” programming block, and will premiere on July 10th.

Ultraman Ginga looks so cool. I also noticed how he was on the magazine covers with other toku heroes. Maybe it could be a sign that next years super hero taisen 3 will include the ultramen.
