Man Guilty for Uploading One Piece, Berserk Manga Online
The 25-year-old Makoto Fujino, who was previously arrested for the suspicion of scanning and uploading scans of Eiichiro Oda's pirate adventure manga One Piece, had pleaded guilty to the charges against him by copyright holders and Shueisha.
According to the authorities, book-digitizing businessman scanned and uploaded the first 10 volumes of One Piece on December 14th, 2012, and the first 10 volumes of Berserk and February 20th, 2013, and offer these as a limited service for people who joined his website, which had been closed since then.
Included in his violation are volumes 1 through 45 of Hideaki Sorachi's Gintama manga and burning them on a DVD-R, which was sold for 10,000 yen.

Well, the publishers and the mangaka has every right to take this to court and have someone arrested because it was published and sold without their consent.
