Fifteen years after Ishinomori's death, the story of the Cyborg 009 manga will finally come to a close. The 19th chapter of the Cyborg 009 Kanketsu-Hen conclusion God's War manga is now available online. The chapter entitled, "Saishūshō ~Senshitachi no Shōshū~", marks the start of the manga's final arc.
Ishinomori's son, actor and filmmaker Jo Onodera (Kamen Rider Kuuga, Shin Kamen Rider), outlined the story based the conceptual notes, rough sketches, and the novel drafts that was left behind by his father. ishinomori's former assistant, Masato Hayase (Kikaider) is drawing the new manga with Ishinomori's former studio Ishimori Productions.
In the original Cyborg 009 manga, the secret Black Ghost organization transforms nine unsuspecting humans into cyborgs. However, the nine cyborgs turn on their masters and protect the rest of humanity from Black Ghost's plans for world war.

At last, we can see how it all ends.
Hopefully when the manga's finished, Comixology will release the other volumes of the series past #10 and publish this story for english fans.
Or we could wait 'til the scanlators get a hold of it. Either way, we get one last adventure with the Zero Squad.
