Actress Mio Otani joins the cast of the live action film adaptation of Yomi Hirasaka's Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai) light novel series. Otani will be playing as the blonde chick Sena Kashiwazaki.

Otani will be the third cast member of the film, joining the lead couple actor/singer Koji Seto (Kamen Rider Kiva) and singer/actress Kie Kitano (Jōkyō Monogatari), as Kodaka Hasegawa and Yozora Mikazuki, respectively. Otani, as Sena in the film, will be treating male admirers as slaves. Do you think she's up for the role?

The original Haganai light novels follows the story of Kodaka Hasegawa, recent transfer student to St. Chronica's Academy, a Catholic high school. As with every other school he has ever attended, he finds it difficult to make friends there because of his naturally-blond hair and fierce-looking eyes, which make him look threatening to his prejudiced schoolmates.
