Publisher Overlap is currently streaming the second promotional video for Infinite Stratos 2, the second anime adaptation of the IS: Infinite Stratos light novels. The trailer centers around the returning characters, as well as the two new gals.
The anime theme song "True Blue Traveler" will be sung by Minami Kuribayashi while Yōko Hikasa sings the ending song, "Beautiful Sky."
Yasuhito Kikuchi is back to direct the anime at 8-Bit and Hikaru Nanase is back to score the music. In addition, Kumi Horii (Zone of Enders) is now handling the character designs and Takeshi Takakura is joined by CHOCO (Busou Shinki) on mechanical designs.
The first anime series that started airing last January 2011 follows the events in the light novel's 1st to 3rd volumes, with minor changes in the plot. The story focuses around Ichika Orimura, who is discovered to be the first male to be able to pilot an IS.
IS: Infinite Stratos 2 premieres October 3rd.
