The official website for the latest installments of the Pokémon game franchise, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, had officially unveiled the evolutions of the two new fossil monsters.
Above is Tyrantrum, the evolution of Tyrunt. It's a Rock/Dragon type and greatest weapon is its gargantuan jaws, which can shred thick metal plates as if they were paper. Its special move is the "Head Smash", where the user focuses its energy on its head and attacks the target. Sadly, the user will also receive a certain damage from using this move.
Lastly here's Aurorus, the evolution of Amaura. It's a Rock/Ice type and have an ability called "Refrigerate", which makes Normal-type moves to Ice-types. It can blast air to form a wall of ice to protect itself from attacks, and can also learn "Freeze-Dry" which freezes its opponents. Also Ice-types are not effective against Water-types, this move is very effective!
As always, you can only obtain one fossil per playthrough — Jaw Fossil for Tyrunt and Sail Fossil for Amaura. Choose wisely, young trainer.
Pokémon X & Pokémon Y will be available for the Nintendo 3DS, and are scheduled to be released worldwide this October 12th. Pre-order now at Play-Asia and get FREE SHIPPING!

Ok so the mega evolutions are a ripoff of digimon and the Kamen Rider form changes. But now Tyrantum is clearly a ripoff of Gabutrya from Kyoryuger. Shameful. Copying from the best. Kamen Rider and Super Sentai > pokemon.
Okay, I think some of us will really name this guy Gabutyra.
Yeah I can definitely see Gabutyra. I don't mind though, because it's kind of cool.
Or they just had ideas that coincidently were already in other franchise. Why is that whenever something has a similar idea to something else people have to immediately call RIPOFF! towards it. Besides mega evolution isn't even remotely similar to the one in digimon considering it's only available during battle. Heck in digimon the mega evolution were called ultimate evolution in japan (sorry if I sound like I'm ranting, I'm no pokemon fan but I'm sick of people constantly calling alot of these elements ripoffs)
Some idiots (cough anon 1) think pokemon are designed as they're unveiled instead of months in advance
And now my zyuranger/mmpr team is complete and hes red off the bat dont have to get the shiny like aerodactyl bastiodon and dragonite
Finally a fossil duo that appeals to me.
Wow, I actually thought that charming anon1 (who always comes in with ridiculous mockery and subjective hate for every thing Pokemon) had gone to oblivion. God I miss you so much! So how did the mental check go? I'm guessing even the doctors couldn't fix your weirdly strange habit/attitude huh? My biggest condolences ;p
hey anon1, you do know that Gabutyra was designed based on Rex from Toy Story right?
I don't mind on calling them Gabutyra and Bragigas.
@ano5 why Dragonite? Haxorus is more suitable to fit in for the Drago mecha
This is Gabutyra :3
I think It's more similar to X-Antibody.
Nice to see I'm not alone on this one, I'm totally gonna call this guy Gabutyra as well.
rock ice type well that has one hit KO wrtten all over it
