Sony had released the latest trailer for the ongoing Ghost in the Shell: Arise original anime video's second episode, "border:2 Ghost Whispers." The film is currently available for download on the Japanese PlayStation Store.
The film takes place after Motoko gains her freedom by separating herself from the military's 501st Secret Unit. Even without Aramaki's suggestion to make her own unit, Motoko begins assembling members. She is suddenly attacked by an armed unit while transporting the machines in order to check them for abnormalities. Later, she meets up with Batou, the man with the "eye that never sleeps," Ishikawa, a former army member who is an internet search expert, and Borma, an electronic warfare expert.
The movie premiered last November 30th in Japan. It was produced by Production I.G, with Kazuchika Kise as chief director and Tow Ubukata as head writer, Ghost in the Shell: Arise "border:2 Ghost Whispers".
