Tecmo Koei Games' popular hack-and-slash video game Sengoku Musou (Samurai Warriors) will be inspiring a television anime series, to be entitled Sengoku Musou SP Sanada no Shō (Samurai Warriors Special: Sanada's Chapter). The anime is scheduled to premiere on March 2014.
Accordingly, the anime will cover the Siege of Ueda Castle and will feature these characters, featuring the games' original voice cast:

Yūko Nagashima as Kunoichi, Makiko Omoto as Inahime (Ina),
Akio Ohtsuka as Honda Tadakatsu, Jouji Nakata as Tokugawa Ieyasu
The anime was announced during the Sengoku Musou 10th Anniversary Presentation event. It will also be bundled on a Blu-ray Disc in the 9,800-yen (about US$98) premium box for the PlayStation 3 game Sengoku Musou 4 (Samurai Warriors 4) that will be released on March 20th, 2014.

I would've expected Koei to make a Dynasty Warriors anime instead of Samurai Warriors, I mean seriously, Dynasty Warriors has been around since the PS1 era
