The first photos of the Titans that will appear in the official live-action Attack on Titan SUV commercial is finally revealed. This commercial will debut today.
The director of the upcoming Attack on Titan film, Shinji Higuchi also worked on the said commercial. In the commercial, the SUV "skillfully dodges" the attack Titans, a regular Titan and a female Titan. This 30-second commercial costs several tens of millions of yen.
Seen above is the female stunt actor who played one of the Titans in the commercial. It is revealed that it took four hours to apply the female Titan's makeup. In addition, a Colossal Titan's upper body is filmed in the commercial. The model was about two meters tall and required seven people to operate.
Principal photography for the upcoming film has not started yet, and the staff hasn't decided if they will use the same Titan models for the film. But Higuchi was grateful for this opportunity to give us a preview of what is to come.
Attack on Titan is set for a 2015 release.
