Actor Hiroshi Fujioka will reprise his role as Takeshi Hongo aka Kamen Rider 1 in the upcomingHeisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider War feat. Super Sentai film!
Fujioka previously reprised the said role via voice over in 2011's OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go KAMEN RIDERS film alongside with Takeshi Sasaki and Hiroshi Miyauchi as Rider 2 and V3 respectively.Kamen Rider War marks the first time after 38 years that Fujioka will transform on-screen as Kamen Rider 1. The last time he appeared on-screen as Takeshi Hongo/Rider 1 was in All Together! Seven Kamen Riders!!.
Produced by Shinichiro Shirakura (Super Hero Taisen), directed by Takayuki Shibasaki (Go-Busters vs. Gokaiger) and written by Shoji Yonemura (Let's Go KAMEN RIDERS), Kamen Rider War will premiere on March 29, 2014.
