On Friday, the trailer for Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Gachinko! Gyakushū no Robo Tō-chan (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Fight! Robo-Dad's Counterattack) has begun streaming on the film's official website. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's song "Family Party" was also featured in the trailer.
The latest Shin-chan movie revolves around his father who goes for a massage in order to fix his sprained back then returns home as a robot that can cook and clean and be operated by a remote control, and was decribed as "with a snort more powerful than an electric fan!" However, the form contains a secret that's involved in a big conspiracy of restless Japanese dads who are upset that their positions in their households have become weak. Added to that, the film is said to be featuring the series' first "battle of dads."
A unit director of many previous Crayon Shin-chan films by the name of Takahashi Wataru is in-charge of this new one with the screenplay written by Nakashima Kazuki (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill). The opening of the film is scheduled on April 19th, 2014. Then, the CD Single release would be on April 16th.
