Kamen Rider Drive: Drive Driver And Tridron First Look

All right boys and girls, here's the first look for the Drive Driver and Kamen Rider Drive's super machine, the Tridon (sounds like Ridon from Kamen Rider Black RX)!

According to the scan, Kamen Rider Drive will be the 2nd Rider to transform via 2 devices (with 000 being the first one via the 000 driver and the 000 scanner) via the Drive Driver and the Shift Brace. Also, the Shift brace functions like the ToQchanger wherein a small miniature car (Shift Cars) is attached.

And lastly, the Tridron, Kamen Rider Drive's super machine that also has a mode changing option via the Shift Brace: Tridron Type Speed, Tridron Type Midnight Shadow, Midnight Shadow Tire.

Now all we need to do is wait for the official release of the suit pix!

    I don't mean to correct you, but Kamen Rider Den-O was the first Rider to use 2 devices, the Belt and the Rider Pass.

    I can see this KR can swap train with ToQqer....
    I think i will miss gaim...

    miniature car as a henshin device?like tokyuger?so childish...

    the belt design looks cool though..i wonder where the LED n the sound comes from?the belt or the bracelet?

    1 thing for sure..i bet this belt using the scan system again...just like deno,ooo,wizard..u put the bracelet with the car in it & then scan it on the front of the doubt about it!

    it's using toqGer concept! that car miniature, oh shit, things will get ugly

    I actually think this looks pretty cool so far. I mean I'm expecting a deluge of comments that say "OH NO THIS IS TERRIBLE BECAUSE IT'S NEW AND DIFFERENT" but... Not getting one of those from me. I'm looking forward to seeing how this pans out.

    Sorry first commentor, i think Ryuki and his series riders is the first one. he use the belt to change and also another device on his hand for weapon and final attack.

    btw, The creative crews seem to love miniature now.. Gokaiger, TQGer, Ultraman Ginga, and now kamen rider too? pffhh! i hope they will introduce back something like in showa era. just the belt and a "funky" hand movemnt to henshin. no need extra device, cards, coins, memory drive or whatsoever.

    This was something I expected Super Sentai to do, not Kamen Rider

  8. Unknown Says:

    Yeah but that the kamen rider fan base for you, heck remember when we thought fruit padlock were stupid yeah remember what happened then.

    Nope wont be better than Gaim. Toei is notorious for it's leap seasons. I'm expecting this series to suck as hard as ToQger.

  11. Wita Says:

    Bandai would not happy by that.

    Btw, I wonder this miniature car related to number 7 ._.

    This always happens when a new rider is revealed, don't judge it yet. I remember when people first saw gaim, saying a fruit based rider is stupid but now everyone thinks of it as an awesome series! This show could be amazing

  13. Anonymous Says:

    to the guy that said this miniature car henshin device was "childish" - this is a kid's show and that is a kid's toy, it's supposed to be childish - if you don't like it, stop watching shows for kids and buying kid toys

    card is a device?

  15. Anonymous Says:

    Ah the negativity train has pulled in I see. Meh, happens every time there's a new Kamen Rider/Super Sentai series introduced. I will wait and watch the first couple episodes before I decide if i like it or not.

  16. Anonymous Says:

    2 devices???well what about ryuki and faiz?

    Ryuki need the rider deck and insert it to the driver and faiz need the phone and insert it too to the faiz belt -_-

  17. Anonymous Says:

    The belt looks nice... and the brace should be revealed soon, plus there's a comment here that's judging the upcoming series before it's even out and comparing it to gaim........

    Looks perty sweet. I'm liking the Driver's aesthetic more than Gaim's Driver. Its more mechanical and a lot less toy-like. I like my drivers so be giant hunks of machinery strapped to the bloke's waist, ala Double and Fourze, so this one doesn't disappoint for me.

    My favourite part of the whole thing is that car though. Can I get one in real life? Its got that super cool 'the future of the past' vibe. Its something that people in the '80s thought we'd be driving around in now.

    The rider needs '80s shoulder pads now. If he doesn't I'll write the series off completely.

    why is it that people want to complain about the concepts of a new series before it even airs.there were so many people complaining about gaim being a fruit based rider when it was first announced last everyone loves the series and the toys are flying off the shelves.dont judge a new series before you have even seen the first couple of episodes.

  20. Anonymous Says:

    I, personally, am hoping this will be lighter than Gaim...

    Gaim's good, don't get me wrong, but after the whole "Cain and Abel" moment in episode 36 or so I quickly decided it was too dark for me. Should've seen it coming - I nean, it IS a Urobutcher series. Great plot and character development, but really dark and gritty.

    Gaim will be missed, I'm sure... Just not by me.

  21. Anonymous Says:

    Well, I think one can appreciate "new and different" while still being bummed that we live in an era of Rider where the best thing one can say about Rider design is " least he doesn't have an orange on his head."

  22. Anonymous Says:

    the complainers can just go and watch dino charge once the series comes out if they really want something to complain about.

  23. mechahawk Says:

    Wow this time the collectibles are like Miniature cars like Hotwheels and Matchbox! Cool concept! At least you can play around with the cars even without the driver!

  24. Anonymous Says:

    Okay the people getting nitpicky over the "Omg there were characters before OOO who did this" debate; They're referring to the fact that both items are ACTUALLY SEPARATE PIECES OF TECH. You keep throwing out Ryuki and Faiz whose transformation devices ARE THE BELTS.

    I'm also just gonna say to the people hating this show already because they "think" it will be like ToQger due to the gimmick; Having a vaguely similar idea =/= Exact same outcome. Different writer, different director, different producer, different fucking franchise.

    @Anon July 25, 2014 at 4:39 AM: What do you mean by leap seasons being bad?

    Dekaranger was very good (personally i prefer it over fandom favorites such as Shinkenger) and Blade weren't bad either, Go-onger was silly and childish but fun (easier to follow than other "darker" series IMO) and Kiva was okay. 2000 was also fine with Timeranger and Kuuga.

    "What do you mean by leap seasons being bad"?

    If there is a good or outstanding season, Ex Gokaiger, The Following Season, Ex: Go-busters, manages to be below average or sub-par. Ratings have been in the take for awhile. Mostly because kids are not that into Sentai like that used to be. So Toei based the shows success on Toy sales. We the fandom however have polls and discussions on this subject every year. From what I can see. Toei has a leap season problem.

    Boukenger = Good
    Magiranger= Just O.K
    Gekiranger= Good
    Go-Onger= Silly but O.K
    Shinkenger= Fillers aside. Good
    Goseiger= Boring and Bad
    Gokaiger= Excellent
    Go-Buster= Decent
    Kyoryuger= Very, Very Good
    ToQger= Ongoing, so far boring and stale

    Rider X is the first one that uses multi9ple parts to henshin, his original henshin uses the miniature version of his helm which split into 2 parts:Redizer and Perfecter

    so yeah, the indormation here is very wrong in so many levels since the feature had been present way back to the showa era

  28. Anonymous Says:

    what about faiz?
