Netfilix To Air Power Rangers Shuriken

It had to happen boys and girls as next year's Power Rangers series will be based on ninjas for the 3rd time and will be moving to a new home.

Entitled Power Rangers Shuriken, the 24h Power Rangers series will be adapting the 39th Super Sentai series, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, the new series will air for 32 episodes (AT LAST THEY ARE BACK ON THIS SKIT) and will air on Netflix. Yes you read it right, Netflix.

Let's all remember that Saban Brands has signed a contract from Nick that is effective till 2016 but looks like the gang of colored spandex heroes will be moving to their new home in Netflix.

That is NOT spandex !!!!! ;)

  2. Anonymous Says:

Haven't you guys heard? Collider is a clickbait site. They post false information.

  3. Arrow Says:

Just want to pop in to note that in another article this site also posted today (http://www.jefusion.com/2015/11/mmpr-movie-2017-yellow-ranger-actress.html), they outright mentioned that Collider got stuff wrong, and *this* article is sourced from Collider as well, so all of this can very possibly end up bring complete BS as well.

  4. Anonymous Says:

Oh come on!, first they skip Go-busters now they skip Toqger

  5. Anonymous Says:

Yeah...collider is not a really trustworthy source, especially since it also said tha PR Movie would have different Main chars, which was debunked by SABAN a short time later.

  6. Anonymous Says:

Does that mean it will air along with Dino Charge Season 2, or will it air after that season, in around 2017?

  7. Blazer Says:

Don't believe it just yet - Collider already had its news about changing the teens' names for the MMPR movie reboot debunked.

  8. Did anyone else accidentally read the header as "Shurikenger"?

  9. Unknown Says:

I think this would be a good move for the power ranger series! They'll have a lot more freedom being on Netflix that could help them expand to wider age range to bring in the people who typically only like to watch the original versions.

  10. So I guess no ToQger adaptation or it won't air on Nick anymore?

  11. This is only a rumor. Please don't pass it off as fact.

  12. Anonymous Says:

THIS IS FAKE!!!!!!!!! This is a joke someone made up and Collider is a untrustworthy site. I can't believe JEFusion fell for it.

  13. Trainbow Says:

This could not be more fake.
Collider is not a trustworthy news source, there is no way Saban would name a Power Rangers season "Shuriken", and this is just verbatim for people fussing about the ToQger-Ninninger adaptations. This is very fake, and there are zero credible sources to support any of this information.

  14. I personally say it's about time. At least now they don't have to deal with Nickelodeon and their stuff anymore. Yes!

  15. Anonymous Says:

Fake news. Not true. Go read the Collider comments on that article. This story comes from a single RangerBoard post, made by a guy who got banned for making up and posting false rumors. Supposedly this is the same guy who posted all the fake names for the 'new' characters in the upcoming Power Rangers movie.

  16. Anonymous Says:

Really hope that's a fake name. Little kids won't be able to say that on top of the fact that it sounds stupid when English speaking people say shuriken.

  17. Anonymous Says:

Why not just voice over or subtitle the original Super Sentai shows to broadcast here in America.

  18. Thomas Says:

This will be awesome if true... but Collider has no source. They literally just said "we're hearing that it'll be on Netflix". There is zero reliable sources for this story at this point, so no one knows for sure. I'd say to take this with a grain of salt until we hear anything substantial.

  19. by the source, I know that you've fallen for something; Collider is known for click bait & making up news just for the views & etc & better yet, we still have Power Rangers Dino Supercharge to get through first before then so this could change! (also, they were wrong on the Power Rangers names for the 2017 film)

  20. Unknown Says:

wait what was the first season who had ninjas?, I think this is the second season that is going to have ninjas as the theme... the first one was Ninja Storm, right?, 'cos Alien Rangers doesnt count

  21. Anonymous Says:

I do believe this is fake because this information only leads back to Collider and people say they post fake stuff. Can't believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet. Thats the number 1 rule of the internet. BUT, Power Rangers on Netflix would be great because I HATE PR being with Nick. Very little advertisement on the show, bad time slot, and the worse part is that it only shows ONCE on Saturday and Sunday. NO OTHER DAY THEY SHOW POWER RANGERS! They don't even air reruns of Power Rangers Samurai and Megaforce. They show Spongebob all the time, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Thundermans, hell they even still show iCarly!!! And that show ended years ago!! They can easily replace an hour of Spongebob and show Power Rangers reruns or iCarly. In my eyes, Nick doesn't care about PR that much. So I think going to Netflix would be better. A lot more freedom and less censorship.

  22. Seriously? Did jefusion never check the facts first? This is shared by another guy that is not from saban themself. So it's just a rumor or HOAX

  23. Asshole Says:

Lol at the weeaboo saying English speakers cannot, or sound weird saying "shrunken". Are you serious? Someone must not be aware of the ever popular Naruto fan base, which of course consists of mostly children (8~10ish, target demographic righ there). Kids will eat this shit up so fast, especially with that name. And honestly, sounds better than "Ninja Ranger", or "Ninja Force" or whatever idiotic fuckery they could come up with.

Regarding the article, I'm hoping this is legit too. Although I don't (more can't. So cringe worthy) watch recent Power Rangers, getting away from Nick and it's dumbass split season bullshit would be a great thing! Fingers crossed it's real.
