This new series seems to be a breath of fresh air. Sentai and Kamen Rider have both been suffering from extremely formulaic gimmicks every year (collectible power such as shuriken or eyecons, and just overall same tropes with different skins). I've been watching both series devotedly since 2009 (and have watched past series as well) but this year, I simply could not keep up with Ninninger and Ghost because I was just so... tired and bored. But this could be what Sentai needs to bring that enthusiasm out in me again. The suit designs are great, the theme has been done before but this time it seems to be really different, there doesn't seem to be any annoying collectible this time around... they're really changing things up. I do plan to catch up on Ninninger and Ghost before the next SS/KR series airs but I'm definitely looking forward to Zyuohger.

Discs, cards, keys, shurikens, and now the Rubix Cube.
That mecha is still incredibly ugly - even worse than Ninninger's "transforming lion" ( or should I say, block of plastic that stands up).
When will we get designs as good as Magirangers multifunctional mech?
Ermm... why the weapon similar with ghost's sunglasses sword. Ghost's is sunglasses while zyuoh is square 3D glasses (because it contain red and blue that used as color to read 3D screen). LOL...

Yeah..if they knew about biklonz mecha..they will be shame with their mecha design in ninninger and these zyuohger
What next? Jenga? Uno? Monopoly base theme? Where we actually need is a full armour bad ass mecha sentai. Not those boxy things
Look at all the people making Minecraft/Rubik's jokes trying to be clever, pretending like they haven't already been done to death or that they weren't completely obvious to begin with....
I think the mecha is not bad or ugly.. it's kinda cool.. they're just pixelated.. that's all..
Personally, I thing the concept is pretty neat and the mecha, although it looks somewhat odd in toy form, is quite nice in suit form. For me, I will be more interested in seeing how they tie together two seemingly unrelated motifs: animal and cubes.
The cube/Minecraft motif is also quite unique for a sentai team, IMHO. My elementary school students here in Japan are enamored with the game so it makes sense that a sentai team would cater to "what is cool". I could harp on the commenters posting about how this is "ugly" or "unoriginal" or whatever but instead would just like to kindly remind them that the series is, first and foremost, created for kids.
Personally, I'm wondering how Bandai of America will mess up Zyuoh King.
