Another manga series will have it's movie adaptation this year. Based on the manga series "Chinyuki - Taro to Yukaina Nakama tachi" by Gataro Man, Chiinyuki is a parody of 16th century Chinese novel "Journey to the West".
The film features Kenichi Matsuyama(L for the movies Deathnote and Deathnote: The Last Name) as Taro and Kana Kirishima (Chisato for the drama Zannenna Otto/Disappointing Husband) as Genzo. One of the cast include's the Nininnjer's grandfather and "Last Ninja" Takashi Sasano.
The story revolves around Genzo and Taro and their adventures while they travels to Tianzhu(early East Asian name for India). Its manga series was published from 1990 to 1992 in weekly shonen manga Weekly Shonen Jump.

The film is directed by Yudai Yamaguchi(Cromartie High: The Movie) and is schedule for release on February 27 2016.
