    Well... I don't HATE it... O_o

  2. Kamen Rider Chip Says:

These new suits aren't terrible. But it needs belts though...

  3. marty Says:

it will gain negative reviews,a box office failure and a final nail in the coffin for the power rangers franchise.

  4. I don't like these new suits because they don't even barely resemble their original counterparts. Also, the uber sci-fi look is offputting at best.

  5. Unknown Says:

Huh the new iron legion looks pretty good

Though honestly I like the suits except for two things. The helmets don't look enough like there animals and no belts makes them look like they have belly buttons

Smells like the next dragonball evolution is happening

  7. Anonymous Says:

If they really went for the futuristic/alien look, then they pulled that off perfectly.
And eventhough the suits are awesome looking, the fanboy in me is saddened beyond words.
For apart from the color schemes, and a vague resemblence in the red and pink helmets, they look nothing like the Power Rangers I know and love.

  8. Ehmar Says:

Helmets are terrible... they all look like the pink ranger's helmet... what were they thinking?

  9. Anonymous Says:

Okay i will say this before everyone's hate it..
i dig it because they make an effort that's it now it's depend on movie action sequence

  10. Unknown Says:

With streamlined and cutting edge design, yet I can feel the original 90's vibe(both TV and movie), this nailed it.
To haters blinded with nostalgia, c'mon this is reboot. Like Spiderman suit from Civil War and Batfleck from BvS, we'll grown up with this designs eventually. I just need more pictures for this suit. Kudos!

I've never seen a power rangers season before and I have zero nastalgia for the original show and I think these look terrible.

  12. Unknown Says:

I'm surprised to be saying this if they're going to imitate the Iron Man suits I think that they should go for more of a mark 45 or Mark 46 Style it's the most refined two individual Iron Man armors and I'm actually surprised that I don't see a time of loss and you know metal plating but a little more metal plating would be nice you know gold on the black Rangerbut I willove send it to the design team they did the best job I would say I was making purely individualized Power Rangers outfits it's still fit in a team ideal per se

  13. Unknown Says:

so.... ironman thingy..... i don't know how to respond, just a bizarre shock

  14. Anonymous Says:

And a one, a two, a three - they are uglee.

  15. Anonymous Says:

I'm liking this design so far, it's very "American" and pretty much just what I expected from the movie

Just got a huge tip about the movie and it involves Rita, her green battle suit, Zordon, and the origin of the Green Ranger Powers.

**SPOILER-DON'T READ BELOW IF YOU DON'T WANT POSSIBLE SPOILERS**

It all revolves around Zordon and Rita being Power Rangers themselves in the past. Zordon was the Red Ranger and Rita was the Green Ranger. She ended up turning on the original squad; killing all but Zordon. But Zordon managed to seal away 5 of the 6 ranger powers and Rita herself before she could steal them all. Fast forward to the "present day" humans accidentally unsealing her and you arrive at the current events of the movie.

Rita *will* have a legitimate backstory this time around other than being "feared throughout the universe just *because*".

So there's Tyranno ranger, Black panther, and ptera ranger in blue, yellow, and pink.

Someone needs to tell the costume designer about color swatches and proportions. The lack of white, and visual distinction in the other suits is troubling. And - the suits look too constraining - like, as in it doesnt look like anyone would be able to lift their arms up.

  18. rangersentaiguy Says:

The suits remind me of Iron Man yes but also throw in a Guyver like look and yeah thats what they remind me of. I know what they are going for that modern, alien-armor suits but I think many of us are so attached to the past. Maybe that's why the majority hates the suits. Reminds me of how Kamen Rider 1 Movie was done bringing Kamen Rider 1 and changing it to a modern looking Kamen Rider. It's still early to call whether these are the finished suits or not. But by judging how the movies looks to be done, I have a bad feeling about this movie as the months go by.

  19. Megas Says:

I was hoping for an imaginative take on the suits while borrowing elements from the original ones. America have some great concept artists and I really was sure that it was their time to shine. Then what we got is some Ironman ripoff: it's impossible not to see all the elements "borrowed" from a strong franchise and the total lack of originality.
