Kamen Rider EX-AID - Ambulance/Rescue Themed Rider?

And after getting registered this week, rumors for the theme of the newest Kamen Rider who will replace Kamen Rider Ghost after the series ends have already surfaced.

And here's the rundown of that rumor for Kamen Rider EX-AID:

"According to the quick description of the character, we will would follow the adventures of a young first-aid worker. The Rider would mainly be white and red with siren eyes like an ambulance.

If you remember the previous years, the theme of the Rider refered to a number. Two for Double, three for OOO, six for the shape of Gaim’s Lock Seeds, etc… This year, we are at number nine. It fits perfectly the first-aid theme. In japanese, nine is kyu and the word emergency is kyukyu, like in Kyukyu Sentai GogoFive."

Excited for this newest rider to come by? Maybe we will all get to see him in the upcoming Kamen Rider Ghost summer movie.

  1. I hope they use many riders concept. Like each rescue department has it owns rider, like police dept, fire dept, and hospital.

  6. You ever wonder what a movie war would be like if some series had been switched. like if this series idea is true and Ghost & Drive were switched. So gaim and ghost met with there similar items/form changes and drive would meet this rider with a similar motif & design.

  7. Go Blue's already cast as Amazon Alpha. Let's see who's gonna get lucky next.

  8. If this is true, then I bet his Movie Wars with Ghost will have a life-and-death theme, with Ghost representing death and Ex-Aid representing life. The moral for that MW is that death is and will be never the end, for there will always be new life to take its place (and I think, considering this year is the 45th anniversary of Kamen Rider, it will mirror how each new Rider will be there to take the place of his predecessors. And it will also show how the Riders will always be with us, even if their respective series have already ended.)

    Wow, I feel like I got poetic/romantic there..... :p

Maybe, but when you open the actual lock to use in the Sengoku/Genesis Driver or any of the weapons, it looks like a 6. Not to mention, "rokku" (lock) sounds like "roku" (six).

Drive, I'm a little bit confused because the shift car flips to a different angle than a 7, if you get what I'm saying. instead of _\, looking kind of like a 7, it looks like this: _/. I think anon 11:18 PM is right though, with the total tires between Tridoron and Drive himself.

I'm excited to see where the "9" motif ties in, besides the name. And just imagine what 10 will be. Maybe a Decade-type rider?

Ghost I'm not really sure, but my guess is that two eyecons stacked look like an 8. I don't really think it's the infinity sign because 1.) Infinity is already sort of a number in itself, and 2.) none of the past riders' number motifs have been only on their final form.

    1. Infinity is not only about the number. In this case, it is related to the series concept. Infinity symbolize reincarnation. Just like takeru who got a new life after being killed by the gamma.

i think 7 for drive is tridoron gear , it has 7 gear, or total tires?

Takeru has seven friends with him during that infinity episode 7+1=8
    1 Takeru
    2 Onari
    3 Akari
    4 Shibuya
    5 Narita
    6 Makoto
    7 Kanon
    8 Alain

  12. For Wizard he uses the japanese five-element system(which is borrowed from the chinese system) in the same way as Kuuga.
    There's fire, water, air/wind, earth, and a central element(crystal/infinity).

For Drive I have a theory: counting the tires from all of his TV forms there's 7 tires(type speed, wild, technic, deadheat, 2 from formula, tridoron), and assembling all together you can barely form the number 7(with wild at left, technic at top, speed and deadheat in the diagonal, formula in the middle, and tridoron at the end)

  13. Will we start the writer's bet? Now is the veteran Rider writer's turn as in every even year since W, with odd years having a new writer outside Toei's regular Rider writers working with the show.

There are some names that probably won't be writing the next series:
    - Kobayashi's already busy with Amazons(and JoJo)
    - Koumura(from Wizard) is already busy with Zyuohger
    - Sanjo was the last veteran writer, with Drive(back at W he could be considered as a new writer)

... we can hope for a new joint project with Nitroplus/Urobuchi again, right?
