that henshin is still weird cause they start with the gashatt facing with the clear blade up and somehow he switches it to face downwards. still its a cool af henshin
It's not actually that weird to be honest. Take a look at Ijima's right hand immediately after he says henshin, he twists his hand like he's flipping the gashatt upside down.
