Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger - Hiroya Matsumoto Seen In Episode 1


It is confirmed that Super Sentai goodwill ambassador Hiroya Matsumoto, who was famous for his role as Magiyellow from Mahou Sentai Magiranger and Beet Buster from Tokumei Sentai Go-Buster was briefly seen in the first episode of Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger!


Yes kids, he was seen in the bar where Naga Ray and Balance hanged out where he portrayed the role of an alien pop superstar Minato Hoshi, and will also be in the 2nd episode which he will perform a song entiled "Lucky miracle paradise" which will also be included as a bonus track in the upcoming series single.

Hiroya is also reported to possibly perform a gattai theme song in a future episode of Uchuu Sentai Kyuuranger.

    Yeah, he's in it. I'm surprised some people didn't notice him.

    Anyway, I hope he won't become a future Kyuranger. He's already playing 2 characters before (3 if we count Animal Sentai), although one of it didn't have a happy ending

    It'll be interesting to see what style he takes for Kyuranger. I don't know how many of you know/remember, but when he was Magi Yellow, he did his character song for Tsubasa called "Go! Yellow Thunder". When he was Beet Buster, he did a duet as Masato with J called "Perfection". I'm really curious to what he can do musically, since he doesn't have an actual Sentai member to play/sing as. Can't wait to see a soundtrack with songs from a Sentai (double-)alumi.

    He's also shown during the ending theme. When the phrase " kyu kyu tama, tama tama kyu kyu" is sung the LAST time...you can see Hiroya Matsumoto floating on a UFO
