We all know, in our geek life, that there is a Superman curse that's been haunting us fans since the George Reeves incident in the past... can there be a curse in the Kamen Rider franchise too? Find out and read all about it after the break.
Thanks to Indro Yusuke, a manga of the said topic (no info if it's official or fan made) was uploaded regarding this story. Now read-on and decide for yourself if it's true or just coincidence.
So what's your opinion on this story? We all know that some of the actors have risen to stardom after becoming a Kamen Rider while others were struct with controversy. Is the poor writing in Wizard in Ghost (both which are hated by some fans) a part of the curse too? Will another Kamen Rider star be struck with the curse?
Whether it's true or not, let's all enjoy the fact that we are still enjoying the franchise and hope for the best and more success to the franchise.

Didn't Yuriko left because of health problems?
I didn't know many of those facts presented in the manga and it is quite disturbing to see so many problems around people who work in our favorite shows. Really hope something like this won't happen to future riders and their staff.
I don't think it's a curse or anything it could just be unfortunate events. Although, the adult version of Hanna quitting all make sense now; it's just sad that she had to go trough all of that harassment. Most riders in the hesei era seem to be quite fine though, so it could just be management and unfortunate events.
What about the case with Joe Odagiri? Didn't he grow to hate Kamen Rider because of the numerous complications he had with the show? Maybe that had something to do with this curse.
At least we still have some guys still alive and fine from this industry. But now, I feel a little bit of guilt being a Kamen Rider fan.
the den-o stuff seems off. yuriko left because of health problems and takeru just got too expensive to hire
yuriko left because of health and takeru's agency made him too expensive for toei to hire
Because it's all Decade's fault..... XD
If you ask me, it was simply inevitable for a long running franchise to suffer a series of unfortunate events. If the curse was real, there would have been constant incidents throughout the series' lifetime and there hasn't been a big incident since Den-o.
Apparently, adult Hanna's actress left because of health issues.
So maybe the manga was written before this piece of information came out.
I can't say whether it's a curse or not but we still have the series in the end. Also either me being stupid or not, is that why there's less Rider series than Super Sentai, even though they are at a 45th anniversary?
that's not True about Amazon because just last year he was Promoting Amazons Season 1 not Off somewhere ''Fishing''
there's no need to feel guilty about being a Fan. the Actors and the Shows are Worlds Apart (Still though this Scared me!)
Am I the only one wondering who George Reeves is???
I'm pretty sure you meant Cristopher Reeve...
For Yuriko, just like everyone else, I heard it was because of Health issue.
But is it the truth about Nigo's actor? Never heard of it.
at Least the Neo-Heisei Riders aren't part of this Madness (in my Opinion W-Ex-Aid Are Currently the Best!) and Kohtaro stopped taking roles in fear of Typecasting
George Reeves is the actor who played Superman in the 1950s.
One could mention the tragic death of the son of Joe Odagiri
Feel bad. Because of there curse , sailor moon died.now I'm probably starting to reconsider being a rider fan.it also hurts because my favorite rider in the series is blade.but now finding out he starred in a porn vid? Comeon.
No. It's George Reece that shot himself .
There the whole "Getting into a Cult" the actress who played Yuki in Fourze had.
No, Wizard is awesome.
I actually enjoyed Wizard. It's not in the same level as Ex-Aid did their main plot more focus based, but the stories involving overcoming despair made me enjoy Wizard more. And the magic-dragon theme too.
