Is there a reason that the Ryuu Kyutama is white instead of violet? It's on the suit too. It looks like Ryuu Violet is the original name for his character and he'll become Ryuu Commander with some kind of upgrade. Personally, I like the name Ryuu Violet better.

It's probably because of what shou said in episode 4 about the kyutamas having limited energy

He may not have been recognized by tbe Kyutama, so he can't use its full power. The wiki says thst this is the TogQ7 suit, just with the different helmet and chest.

The name RYUU Violet makes sense since all the other names was constellation and color. Having commander instead of color would've been an odd break

Anyone else notice the lack of longcoat? This may be a pre-powerup form.

This was actually a somewhat decent episode. I'm glad we got to focus on Spada and why he wants to be a chef. While it doesn't make him stand out as anything particularly unique, it is still better than his portrayal in episode 4 as a killjoy strawman solely to make Lucky look better. Also, we get some focus on Xiao as a pragmatic individual who prioritizes taking out the Jark Matter towers rather than helping out the citizens. It also helps that he has some bad history with Ikagen and Madako that is driving his behavior. Speaking of Ikagen and Madako, they continue to be great antagonists who bounce off each other with their contrasting personalities. They are far more engaging than whats his face in the first five episodes.
On the downside, this show once again frames childish recklessness as always in the right and any level of compromise as wrong. When Xiao informs Spada and the others of their teammates being held hostage they immediately stick with helping the citizens instead. This wouldn't be so bad if the citizens were in actual danger, but from what I've seen, they are simply having their food taken without being physically harmed in any way as seen with the Jark Matter troops simply taking bread from the child. It is mentioned earlier in the show that having all nine Kyurangers in necessary for saving the Universe, so making sure three of the members are secure takes priority over civilians who are simply having their food taken. Lastly, Lucky going along with Spada's decision nonchalantly than helping his teammates was a dick move. Kyoryuger did this type of scene better when Daigo stated that his teammates were strong enough to get out of the situation on their own. As much as I hate Kyoryuger, at least it gave a reason despite how dumb it was. On a random note, I'm getting pretty sick of Lucky's luck based super powers.
