An image regarding the summary for Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger's 16th episode has surfaced giving us some interesting info that may lead to some fan theory. Read all about it after the break.
"Champ and Stinger infiltrates the enemy base and soon, they encountered Scorpio and Madakko and goes on a 2 on 2 battle. Suddenly, Scorpio attacks Madakko in the heat of the battle. He then tells Stinger and Champ that he will destroy the Jark Matter Organization from the inside..."
Does this mean that Scorpio, like his brother Stinger, is also a double agent for the liberation army? Or is he doing this an act of vengeance against the organization for wiping-out his people? Will the Argos choose him to become the 12th Kyuranger, the Phoenix Soldier? Or is he doing a very good mind game? Time to pick your theories, my friends.

I think Scorpio totally do things like Itachi in Naruto. He agree to wiped out his entire clan with exception his younger brother, Stinger
It's bit a stretch to pull another "I pretend evil but actually i'm the good guy". They even give him a monster form (a cool one, even) and it's gonna be a waste if he only use it for a while only and change into Kyuranger

I'm hoping he's just lying to try and mess with their heads. It'd be a bit disappointing to have them agree to set aside their differences and work together to defeat someone so evil and horrible...only for the very next episode to say "it's just a prank guys, he's good too".

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he is Phoenix. Like I've said before, that is the whole lore of a phoenix. It dies, and it's reborn. It's very likely we'll see Scorpio indeed be a double agent, who sold his soul to protect his brother. We'll probably see him "die" (by the hands of an even bigger baddy most likely) only to later be resurrected as Phoenix.
As predictable as it would be, it would make sense. I wouldn't be upset by it either, as I feel it would be a waste to just have him be an arc villain. Although they could stretch out the whole brother story thing for a while.
Of course, it could also simply be mind games, but from what we've seen, I just don't really feel like he would bother to mess with Stinger. Unless it's just a ploy to destroy THEM from the inside!
And lastly, we've seen him kill Jark Matter goons before. Even use them as pawns. So even if he attacks someone, it's not a 100% side flip. He's just a fucking asshole, who has a history of stabbing people in the back.
