News flash! Nobuhiro Watsuki, the creator of the hit samurai manga/anime series Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X has been charged for possession of child pornography by the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Dept. on this day, November 21, 2017.
According to the authorities, numerous copies of DVDs with nude photos of young girls were found in an office located at Tokyo and Watsuki was arrested after being charged with possession of child pornography where the penalty is imprisonment of up to one year and a fine of 1 million yen.
He also said in his testimony that he "like girls in their late elementary level and in their second year of middle school".
Besides his work on Rurouni Kenshin, Watsuki was also known for his work on Gun Blaze West (2001) and Buso Renkin (2003-2005).
