And we are back from last night's fun filled, star studded launch party for the upcoming Comic Con Asia 2018 and yours truly is here to bring you the news on what went down! Read on after the break!

The hotel's conference hall jam-packed with fans!
The event's launch party was held in The Heritage Hotel Manila last night, January 17, and the hotel's conference room was filled with more than a hundred attendees ranging from bloggers, fans, toy collectors and celebrities who were invited in this special night. Everybody was eager to see what surprises will be revealed that night!
World's collide! Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman in the house!
It was 8pm when the launch party finally started after every had dinner and all the fans that were present were treated to an awesome introduction by famous filipina celebrities who were in super-heroine costumes. Here we see two of the host, Ms. Regine Tolentino as Captain Marvel and Ms. Daiana Menezes as Wonder Woman, two of the most powerful women in the comic industry.
The event producer, Ms. Pauline Sofia Laping, giving her opening speech.
The opening speech for was made by Ms. Pauline Sofia Laping, of PSL Entertainment and is Comic Con Asia's event producer. One of the greatest news that she told everybody that proceeds from the event will be also given as charity/financial assistance to the Soldiers, their relatives and the victims of last year's siege in Marawi.

After Ms. Laping's opening speech, we were finally introduced to the celebrities that will be attending the event as honored guest and one of them is legendary comic icon, Mr. Marvel himself, Stan "The Man" Lee! Time to save up some of those hard earned money for this event, folks! And that's not all, the original Black Ranger from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Walter Jones will also be at the event!
And here are all the gentlemen of the panel being interviewed by both of the host regarding the activities and contest that awaits the upcoming event's attendees.
Lastly, we were all treated by the attendance by the Philippine's greatest treasure in sports, Senator Manny "PacMan" Pacqiao!
So without further delay, here are the celebrities that will be attending the first Comic Con Asia: Stan Lee (Marvel), Ray Allen (NBA), Walter Jones (MMPR). Then we have cosplay celebrities like Chad Hoku of Hoku Props, Linda Le (Vampy Bit Me), Nana Kuronoma, and Anna Redei (Redei). And lastly, our own local celebrity talents like Jay Tablante, Harvey Tolibao, Carlo Pagulayan and Armand Serrano (Disney) will also be there as honored guest.
The first Comic Con Asia will be held on March 24-25, 2018 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall Of Asia and ticket prices ranges from 800 (1 day) up to 1,300 (2 days).
