I really hope we get some focus on the patrangers and not just them showing up for fight scenes. Because I’m really starting to like patren1gou even though all he’s done so far is yell at the Lupinrangers.

From what I’ve seen so far...
    We’ll be getting that focus.

I personally think this episode gave a good amount of focus towards Keiichiro and Umika. Despite being incredibly hot-headed and misguided, Keiichiro is shown to be incredibly determined, while also caring about the well-being of other people. Umika, for all her ditziness is shown to be something of a peace keeper, as she tries to get Kairi and Tooma to not stress too much about the current situation, and as someone who dislikes unnecessary conflict. I like that Kairi has a certain level of respect for Keiichiro's sense of justice, which even prompts him help him out later in the episode. The mech fight was pretty cool, showing how much the cgi for sentai has improved. I just wish that they wouldn't over do it with the cgi and remember to utilize more practical effects. Also, Sakuya and Tsukasa got the shaft this episode in terms of focus, so I hope they fix it in later episodes.
