Finally, after months of rumors and speculations, it is now confirmed that the team-up between the ultimate saviors and the newly formed Space Squad lead by Gavan will finally happen and will be the first of an all new V-Cinema project!
As part of the new V-CINEXT series ans as the first presentation, the movie will star all 12 of the main Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger cast with Yuma Ishigaki reprising his role as Gavan Type G and Hiroaki Iwanaga as Shaider. The plot is yet to be revealed.
Written by Nobuhiro Mori (Kyuranger) and directed by the king of tokusatsu legs, Koichi Sakamoto, Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger VS SPACE SQUAD will be released on blu-ray on August 8, 2018 and will also get a limited cinematic release on June.

This is really different though the vs film is still here it's the first time since gavan that this sentai team did not team up with previous sentai
But the strange part is it won't be released on theaters it's on DVD and blu ray instead.Though I think its for the best
@marty but one the reasons why Gokaiger vs Gavan happened is because the Gokaigers and Goseigers had already teamed up in 199 Hero Great Battle, not sure why this happening instead of a Zyuohger team up as the Zyuohgers and Kyurangers never met in a previous film. I wonder what they will do with next year's vs as the next sentai focuses on two teams.
I just hope this time the movie will focus on other characters besidelucky. However the writer still nobuhiro mori, so I do not put too much hope in that.I would like the writer be gen urobochi or yasuko kobayashi.

The reason why there's no Kyuranger VS Zyuohger is because ZyuohElephant' actor is involved with a hit and run accident.
And now, all I want for the Space Squad is having B-Fighters back.
